1. Simple present tense

is used to express common activities or truths that occur regularly or routinely. The sentence pattern is Subject + Verb (base form) + Object. For example, "I work in an office".

Simple past tense

Used to express events that have already happened and ended in the past. The sentence pattern is Subject + Verb (past form) + Object. For example, "I worked in an office last year".


2. Once upon a time there lived a rich widow who had two children:garilic and onion. garlic was her step daughter. garlic was a good child, while onion was lazy.

One day garlic washed her stepmother's cloth, but the cloth was washed away in the river. garlic continued down the river until she finally met an old woman who found the cloth. The old woman would return the cloth on the condition that garlic had to help her work.

Garlic helped her work. The old woman gave two gifts to choose: a small pumpkin or a large pumpkin. Then garlic took the small one.

Coming home with a small pumpkin, her stepmother grabbed the pumpkin and slammed it angrily. It turned out that the pumpkin contained gold, gems and diamonds.

The stepmother then told onion to do as onion did, to wash the cloth in the river. Until finally met the old woman. But onion didn't want to help her and asked for a big pumpkin. At home she split the large pumpkin which turned out to be a poisonous snake and scorpions. Soon they realized their bad deeds.


3. The conquest of Constantinople by the Ottoman Turks took place on May 29, 1453 after a 53-day siege. Here are some of the things that happened during the conquest of Constantinople: 

The conquest of Constantinople was carried out by Sultan Mehmed II of the Ottoman Empire. 

The conquest began on April 6, 1453 with the storming of the city fortress of Constantinople by Sultan Mehmed II and his troops. 

The conquest was carried out by besieging Constantinople from land and sea, and using cannons to attack the city walls. 

This conquest marked the end of Byzantine rule and the Middle Ages. 

After conquering Constantinople, Sultan Mehmed II made the city the new Ottoman capital. 

After the conquest, Sultan Mehmed II took the titles "al-Fātih" (Arabic: Conqueror) and "Abul-Fath" (Arabic: Father of Conquest). 

Constantinople was the center of the world's commodity trade in Eastern Europe and the Christian defense of Islam. The fall of Constantinople enabled uninterrupted Ottoman expansion into eastern Europe
